The State of Ohio Gets A Second Go At Executing Inmate
In 2009 the State of Ohio tried to kill Romell Broom via lethal injection. After several failed attempts to establish an IV line to deliver the deadly coctail of drugs the executation was cancelled. Ohio's Supreme Court held that because the State was unable to inject any lethal drugs into Broom in 2009 they get a legal mulligan and can take another stab at executing him.
