Assert Your Rights With ICE

Print this card and hand it to an immigration officer to assert your constitutional rights.
This card informs the immigration officers that:
-
you are asserting your right to remain silent;
-
you do not consent to any searches of your person, your property, your home, or your belongings;
-
you do not consent to their entry onto your property;
-
you are asserting your right to legal counsel and will not speak with them or answer any questions without your attorney;
-
if they have a judicial warrant signed by a judge authorizing them to enter your home then you want them to slide it under your door so you can review it before you open the door.
You can use the space at the bottom to write your name, A#, and attorney contact information so you will have it readily available in the event that you are detained by ICE.
*It includes a space to write your name because ICE often misspells names, which makes it more difficult for your family to find out where you are using the online ICE detainee locator.
